November 1, 2008: 2ND Annual Golden Empire Mustangs Dyno Day and Show & Shine!
What began as an impromptu dyno day by three members of the Golden Empire Mustangs club of Bakersfield California turned into a fun and friendly event on November 4, 2007.  The event, spearheaded by Jeff Parks and John Coates of Golden Empire Mustangs, pulled together nearly a dozen cars in a period of just a few short weeks prior to the 2007 Dyno Day event.  On hand for the event were Mustangs from the past 40 years as pictured above in a late afternoon photo from the event.

This year's event promises to be bigger and better.  Preliminary interest at the August Golden Empire Mustangs monthly meeting exceeded last years car count by nearly a third for the dyno day.  In addition to the dyno day, this year we will be adding a Show & Shine and an Economy Run to give everyone more opportunity to participate.  Both the Show & Shine and the Economy Run will be FREE to participate!  We also working on getting support from select manufacturers for this year's event in the form of  a few  prizes and give-a-ways for participants, details will be forthcoming.

The 2008 Golden Empire Mustangs Dyno Day event is tentatively open to 24 cars.  Dyno participants will receive 2-pulls with a dyno graph for just $40!  Preregistration forms will be available here next week, and at the September GEM Club meeting.  Additional Information regarding the 2008 Golden Empire Mustangs Dyno Day will be available in our forums and from the Golden Empire Mustangs club website soon. 

Dyno Testing, Tuning & Calibration Services
